A woman has reportedly come forward to claim that she saw Steven Clark at her home just three days after he vanished.

Clark vanished from his job as a security guard on the day of his 29th birthday on September 28, 1992.

Fugitive Bruce Pfeiffer has been on the run since 1995 for the murder of two escorts he met in a pub.

Miss Marsden said that she saw Clark outside her home when the last of her mobile phones was ringing on the night of his disappearance.

Pfeiffer was seen in Hampshire on September 28 on CCTV which captured him entering a pub known as The Dog in Eastleigh.

He was later seen on CCTV getting into a silver coloured car in Eastleigh and when the footage was analysed it showed that the vehicle’s license plate didn’t match Clark’s car.

Theresa Lewis was one of five friends from Waterlooville who she decided to go out for a couple of glasses of champagne on their friends’ 29th birthday.

Although Miss Lewis hasn’t fully recalled what happened, it is believed that Pfeiffer approached her and she fell asleep.

She was being driven home at around 4.30am but at one point, Miss Lewis fell out of the car and Pfeiffer snatched her arms, causing her to crash.

Miss Lewis was ‘completely bruised’ when she woke up but later that morning, her boyfriend found her in her pyjamas at his home, with bruising on her arms.

Pfeiffer admitted that he was in a relationship with Miss Lewis, but was also said to have had ‘alternative sexual relationships’, which could include women.

Pfeiffer was released from prison in 2011 and from November 13 to 20, he has been on the run from the law.

Court documents state that he was convicted in 1995 of the murder of Michelle Johnson who he killed on February 16, 1994.

Miss Johnson’s body was found on March 26, 1994 near Wootton Bassett in Wiltshire.

Pfeiffer was sentenced to life in prison and required to register as a sex offender for life and he was also ordered to serve at least 13 years of his sentence.

Police closed in on Pfeiffer during the investigation, but at the time had no direct evidence against him.

The Suffolk Police force have been working on a renewed appeal to trace him as one of four ‘cash per the dead’ donors.

Detective Chief Inspector Chris Cleaver, who is leading the investigation, said: ‘The Tippex packets contain short, unwanted or unpleasant objects to leave an unfortunate mark in case you come across someone.

‘We believe that if Pfeiffer had willingly collected them, they would not be marked. I appeal to the community of Suffolk to tell us if they know where Steven Clark is currently located.’

Miss Lewis appealed to anyone who may have seen Mr Clark.

She said: ‘I don’t even remember falling out of the car, but I remember he had something in his hand.’
‘If anybody has seen him, please tell the police. He’s been missing for 20 years and we need to find him as he could still be alive.’

Theresa also asked for members of the public who may know anything about Steven Clark, or been in the Brook Street, Eastleigh area between 6.15am and 6.15pm on Saturday, September 28, to come forward.
